Wendy (Gerwin) Bryant

Wendy (Gerwin) Bryant, 54, of Fremont, passed away at home on March 7, 2021. She was born in Fremont, Ohio on August 25, 1966 to Lowell and Dianna (Mccoy) Gerwin. Wendy graduated from Gibsonburg High School and attended college courses for medical coding. She worked for Cooper Standard as a production worker for many years until she became too sick to do so. Wendy was a hard worker, but when she had her free time, she loved spending it with her grandchildren and her children. She had an artistic side and loved to color and was an avid reader.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Heather Bryant, Emily (Robert, Jr. ) Shellhammer, Kurtis (Chelsea Shell) Bryant, Brianna Till, grandchildren; Destiny and Xavier Harris, Layla, Logan and Lucas Bryant, Gavin, Gabriel, Olivia Shellhammer, Milo Carani, mother, Dianna Nash, siblings; Russell Gerwin, Sandra (Mike) Dunn, Vicki (Jerry) Oddo.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell Gerwin.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, 319 W. Madison Street, Gibsonburg, OH, 43431. Use of a mask is required at all services and wait times may occur outside to accommodate social distancing. Services will be held privately for the family following visitation. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be given to assist with funeral expenses, in care of her daughter, Emily Shellhammer.
