He was born on October 13, 1940 to the late Eugene and Edith (Alwine) Garn.
Wayne worked for many different farmers through the years. He enjoyed going out for walks, and owned a stubborn donkey named Squeakie.
Wayne is survived by his cousin, Doug Garn of Michigan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Edith; and two half sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 10 at West Union Cemetery beginning at 1:00pm with an hour of visitation held prior from 12:00-1:00pm at the cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made in Wayne's name to Gibsonburg Community Church or Bridge Hospice.
