Victoria Blessing

Victoria Blessing, 90, of Gibsonburg, passed away at Fostoria Community Hospital on December 23, 2020. She was born to Diego James and Rose (Pantaleo) Angelone on October 27, 1930 in Gibsonburg. She attended Gibsonburg High School and worked for many years in housekeeping for Fremont Memorial Hospital. On September 5, 1960 she married Richard H. Blessing at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Gibsonburg. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2010.

Victoria loved her family, especially her grandchildren. When they were together, she loved cooking for her family and playing cards.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brenda (Chris) Kille and Scott Blessing, both of Gibsonburg, OH, grandchildren; Ashley (Nick) Walby, Matte Kille, Brianna (Kyle) Gosche and Nicholas Kille, great-grandchildren; Reese, Kenzley and Avery Walby, Weston, Karsyn and Colson Gosche, siblings; Frank Angelone, Margaret Binder, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard, infant sons; Dennis and James Blessing, siblings; Carmen, Joseph, Richard Angelone, Nina Price and Grace Schoenfeld.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 319 W. Madison Street, Gibsonburg, OH, 43431. Use of a mask is required to enter the building and wait times may occur outside due to social distancing restrictions.
