Tyler Hasselbach

September 6, 1990 — April 2, 2022

Tyler John Hasselbach, 31, Fremont, OH passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Saturday, April 2, 2022, leaving behind his high school sweetheart of 14 years, Ashley (Cook) Hasselbach (31) and two sons Jaxson (6) and Bryson (3).

Tyler was born September 6, 1990, to Dave and Marsha (Steinle) Hasselbach in Fremont, OH and loved every minute of the next thirty-one years. In his childhood, he was a beach hole digging, golf ball hitting, bass drum banging and bb gun shooting type of boy. Breaking rules didn’t set off any alarms as he could fix almost anything with his genuine charm.

In high school he met the love of his life, Ashley Cook, to whom he married on October 26, 2013, and spent the next 9 years building the foundation of their family. Additionally, Tyler used his skills combined with Ashley’s eye for design to breath life into his great grandparents’ property. You’ll never know a better father than Tyler to his two sons Jaxson and Bryson with whom he played, disciplined, spoiled, taught the value of hard work and truly loved.

An ample provider, Tyler perfected his skills as a fifth-generation butcher and businessman at Hasselbach Meats where he eventually earned the position of full partner. He was known for creating unique products, identifying amazing sales and outworking everyone. The fruits of his labor manifested themselves in the form of his many toys including guns, dirt bikes, ATVs, and his pickup truck. Master of the grill and hunter of the thrill he enjoyed everything about life.

Tyler was a man of many talents. He could fix anything, build anything and through his effortless humor make you feel like you belonged. Real men of his caliber are hard to find and the void he has left may never be filled.

He is survived by a family that loves him deeply including his parents Dave and Marsha Hasselbach, spouse, Ashley Hasselbach; children Jaxson and Bryson Hasselbach, siblings Justin (Lisa) Lynch, Kortni (Matthew) Hollis, Christa (Vance) Norton; parents-in-law, Dennis and Shelli Cook; sister-in-law, Kara Cook; nieces and nephews, Emma, Ava, and Nova Lynch, Ranen and Maven Hollis, Quinn and Wesley Norton, and Liam and Xzavier Cook.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Jaxson and Bryson’s College 529 plans at the following link: www.ugift529.com using the following codes: Jaxson (S4T-A9N); Bryson (772-V4Y); or in care of his wife, Ashley.
