Terrence L. Reed, 80 of Fremont passed away on December 14, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. 

He was born on October 28, 1945 to the late Orville and Margaret (Gottron) Reed in Fort Riley, Kansas.

Terrence worked as a paramedic in Fremont before moving to Naples, Florida and working as an emergency room technician for 26 years. He retired in 2011.

On February 14, 1981, he married Shirley Hemminger and shared over 35 years together before her passing in 2016. 

He enjoyed woodworking, specializing in making furniture. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. Terrence was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Fremont. 

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Michelle (Randy) Billow, and Chad (Jennifer) Reed-Dobbs; grandchildren, Jason, Clayton, and Cody Billow, Dylan, Brayden, and Zachary Dobbs, and Victoria Garby; great-grandchildren, Miya and Baileigh Billow and Beau Garby; and siblings, Cheryl Ruggiero, Dennis (Mary) Reed, and Tim (Chris) Reed.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; parents, Orville and Margaret; and brother-in-law, Richard Ruggiero.

A memorial service for Terry will be held on Thursday, December 18 at St. John's Lutheran Church beginning at 11:00AM. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00-11:00AM. A committal service for both Terrence and Shirley will be held at Oakwood Cemetery following the memorial service.
