Susan Louise Sheets

Susan L. Sheets, 62, of Fremont, passed Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Toledo Hospital. She was born July 21, 1963 in Fremont, the daughter of William and Nancy (Fowler) Sheets. Susan was a graduate of Ross High.

Sue was a dietary aid in many of the area nursing homes, while cooking was her first priorty she found the interaction with the residents as an added bonus. More recently she worked locally in convenience stores in Fremont, Port Clinton and Marblehead, she looked forward to her daily customers and meeting new people. She loved conversation, visiting friends and family and road trips in her car. Sue enjoyed time with her nieces and nephews and made it a priority to interact with the littlest ones.

Surviving is her mother Nancy Park; step-mother Diane Sheets both of Fremont; siblings: Jen (Tony) Hotz, Cindi Flores, Kendra (Pete) Ochs, Karrie Ruiz, Nikki (Mike) Willis, Steve (Lisa) Sheets, Mike (Renee) Sheets, Jeff (Tana) Sheets, Rick (Naketa) Sheets; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Bill Sheets and nephew T.J. Hotz.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 4 to 6 at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, OH. Funeral Services will begin at 6pm funeral home officiated by Pastor Matthew Wheeler. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
