Susan Schoch

Susan "Sue" Elaine Schoch, 75 of Gibsonburg passed away in the morning of June 16, 2021 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

Born on May 8, 1946 to the late Harold and Donnabelle Ardner, Sue was one of two children.

On July 1, 1967, she married Michael Schoch, who survives. They shared 54 loving years together.

Sue was very active in her church community at Shiloh United Methodist Church, and taught Sunday School and Jr. Church for many years. She was also a Girl and Boy Scout leader, the president of the PTA, and made sure to attend every event that her children participated in.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael; children, Lori (Dan) Greider of Bradner, Wendy Trout of Delaware, OH, Michael Schoch Jr. of Fremont, and James Schoch of Fremont; grandchildren, Ashley (Jason Damschroder) Saionz, Samantha and Benjamin Trout, and Kylee and Ally Greider; and her beloved dog, Dede.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Donnabelle; infant son, Jonathon Schoch; and brother, Charles Ardner.

A time of visiting will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 3:00-5:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, Gibsonburg.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Shiloh United Methodist Church, with Pastor Mike Holcomb officiating. A luncheon will follow.

Memorial Donations in Sue's name may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church.
