Sharon Sue Neifer

October 13, 1952 — July 22, 2021

Sharon Sue Neifer, 68, Lindsey, Ohio won her battle with cancer as she passed from life into life eternal on Thursday, July 22, 2021. She was born to Karl and Eileen Rogers on October 13, 1952. They have proceeded her in passing. She is survived by her sister, Karen (Stephen) Oberst of Lindsey; two nieces Rebecca (Jacob) Noftz from Leesburg, Indiana, and Kathryn (Tyler) Harriman of Plain City, Ohio. She has five great nephews and nieces, Elijah Harriman, Eleanor Noftz, Lucy Harriman, Beatrice Noftz and Caleb Noftz, as well as many amazing friends. One of the joys of her life was teaching students. Most of her career was spent at Bellevue Senior High School and she finished her career at Bishop Hoffman Catholic Schools. Sharon was very active in Lindsey Trinity United Methodist Church. She held many positions throughout her life in the church. Memorial contributions may be sent to Lindsey Trinity United Methodist Scholarship Fund, 231 South Maple Street, Lindsey, Ohio 43442, Ovarian Cancer Connection, 5577 Airport Highway #206, Toledo, Ohio 43615 or Stein Hospice. The family would like to thank all of the special friends and church family who took care of Sharon during her four-year journey with cancer. Her earthly body was donated to UTMC. In place of a service, there will be a short celebration of life during Sunday morning service 10:00 A.M. at Lindsey Trinity United Methodist church on August 8, 2021.
