Sandra Ann Fegly (Ginn), 76, of Fostoria, passed away Friday, October 30, 2026 at Bridge Hospice. She was born February 18, 1950 in southern Ohio. Sandra was a 1968 graduate of West Portsmouth High school, In Portsmouth, Ohio.
Sandra, lovingly known as "Granny," was a one-of-a-kind woman whose greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandchildren, who held an extra-special place in her heart. Granny loved spoiling them, making them laugh, and creating memories they would carry with them for a lifetime. Whether she was sharing a story, cracking a joke, or offering a little advice (whether it was wanted or not!), she always made sure you knew she loved you. She was always up for a good laugh and had a way of making even the simplest moments unforgettable.
On July 4, 1994, Sandra married the love of her life, her late husband, Alfred Fegly. They shared many wonderful years together until his passing on September 18, 2016. Their life together was filled with adventures and simple pleasures they both loved. From hunting and fishing to garage sales and setting up at flea markets, they enjoyed spending time together and making the most of every opportunity.
Some of the most treasured memories were made with their grandchildren, whom they loved taking ginseng and yellow root hunting. They enjoyed teaching the grandchildren how to find, harvest, and dry the roots, passing down traditions and knowledge that will live on through the generations.
Sandra had many hobbies and interests that brought her happiness. She enjoyed playing bingo, mushroom hunting, Touchstone jewelry, and cheering on her favorite Major League Baseball teams. She found joy in the little things and loved being surrounded by her family, her love will continue to live on in each of them..
Surviving are numerous children, step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her two dogs, Daisy and Tank.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 550 Salem Street, Risingsun, Ohio.
Family and friends are welcome to come together to share stories, laughter, and memories as they celebrate the life of a truly special woman.
