Ronald "Ronnie" Geyer

October 31, 1956 — May 9, 2024

Ronald "Ronnie" Geyer, 67, of Fremont passed away at Countryside Manor on Thursday, May 9, 2024. He was born in Fremont to the late U.S. veterans Gage and Jean M. (Robinson) Geyer. 

Ronnie grew up in Fremont a sibling to Richard, Karen, Donald and John. He attended the School of Hope and participated in Special Olympics. He was an athlete in just about every sport including basketball, bocce ball, bowling, and swimming. For several years Ronnie went to live with his sister, Karen, in Lomita, California, where he took a job washing cars and greeting guests at a car dealership. 

For all who knew him, Ronnie will be remembered for his kindness and tender heart. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Rick (Jennifer) Geyer of Fremont, John Geyer of Fremont, and Donald Geyer of Rochester, Illinois as well as his nephews: Ricky, Reagan, Justin (Cynthia), and Jamison.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Karen Geyer, and sister-in-law Bonnie Geyer.

Visitation for Ronnie will be held at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North St., Fremont, OH 43420, on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 9:00AM-11:45AM. Burial with graveside services will follow at Oakwood Cemetery tenatively to begin at 12:00PM with Pastor Lamar Baker will officiate.

Memorial contributions in honor of Ronnie may be made to the Special Olympics.
