Robert Andrew Iler

Robert Andrew Iler, 63 of Lindsey passed away on August 21, 2026, at his home. He was born on February 14, 1963, to the late Andrew F. Iler and Caroline Josephine (Scherer) Welch. 

Robert attended Fremont Ross High School before proudly serving his country in the United States Army from 1980-1981. He went on to become an electrician and most recently worked for Graham Packaging as a maintenance electrician. 

He enjoyed playing poker and golfing earlier in life. His family will fondly remember his love of playing in his band, "Cherokee River" and singing karaoke; specifically putting his all into "Achy Breaky Heart". His greatest loves were going for rides on his motorcycle and spending time with his grandkids and family.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kelsey Iler; and Garrett Strait; and grandchildren Faith and Colton Rider.Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Caroline. 

A celebration of Robert's life will be held at a later date. 

Donations in Robert's name may be made to his family, in care of his daughter, Kelsey; or to the Gary Sinese Foundation to help wounded veterans.
