Rebecca Wise

Rebecca "Becky" J. Wise, 73, of Fremont passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026. She was born on January 9, 1953 to the late Purel and Margaret (Nitschke) Wise.

Becky was a 1971 Fremont Ross graduate. She dedicated 25 years at Fremont Memorial Hospital in Dietary, and following her time at the hospital she worked as a home health care provider.
Becky enjoyed bowling, but she will mostly be remembered for her outgoing nature. Those close to her would say she never met a stranger. In her free time she liked to bake and was know for the innumerous amount of caramel corn that she would make to share with others. Becky was a life long member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fremont. Along with the many cherished relationships she built there, she had formerly served in the church as a trustee.

She is survived by her nephew, Johnathan Coe; and several cousins, among them being her care taker, Jamie Gottron.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Judith "Judi" Coe.

Memorials in honor of Becky may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or to Jamie Gottron for Becky's care.
