Ramiro Gonzalez

Ramiro Jr. Gonzalez, 54 of Fremont, died on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Toledo ProMedica Hospital. He was born on July 20, 1966 to the late Ramiro G. and Ninfa (Villareal) Gonzales.

A graduate of Fremont Ross High School, Ramiro went on to study at Terra Technical College. He had worked for Ole’ Zim’s Wagon Shed, and most recently for Tower Automotive.

Ramiro was a family man, who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching the Browns and the Indians. Ramiro was active in pool leagues and played vintage baseball and softball in his free time. Ramiro was always there for his sons and had a very kind and giving nature.   

Surviving are sons, Antonio (Nikki) Gonzales and Trevor Gonzales; grandchildren, Alexis, Bella, Charlee, and Dawson; brothers, Daniel (Beth) Gonzales and David Gonzales; fiancé, Christina Grimm; nieces, Alyssa and Payton; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramiro and Ninfa.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Ole Zim’s Wagon Shed in Gibsonburg from 11:00AM-1:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in Ramiro’s memory.
