Michael Ray Tucker, 59, of Oak Harbor, passed away July 14, 2025 in Fremont. He was born March 10, 1966, in Bellevue, Ohio, to Ray U. Tucker and Thelma R. Bohannon. Michael was a 1985 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. A year later on August 1, 1986, he married his high school sweetheart Susan Ferguson in Fremont, Ohio, and they survived 38 years of marriage before his passing.
On February 11, 1987, he bravely enlisted in the United States Army, serving overseas in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in Desert Storm as well as Southwest Asia. During his tour he earned many honors including but not limited to a Liberation Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 BSS, the Army Service Ribbon, and Expert Badge with the M-16 Rifle, and an Air Assault Badge. Michael received an honorable discharge on March 17, 1992.
Michael was a dedicated truck driver and spotter for Penske Logistics, a job that allowed him to explore the open road and experience the beauty of the country until his retirement in 2016. For over ten years, he also owned a karaoke and DJ business he called Fun Times Karaoke and DJ.
In his free time, he could often be found glued to the television, binging on his favorite shows or catching up on the latest movies. Michael also enjoyed fishing on peaceful days, thrifting for hidden treasures, and giving his best (but definitely not award-winning) attempt at singing. He loved dining out at his favorite restaurants and indulging in an argument.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Susan Tucker; children, Melinda Tucker of Fremont, Kristen (Johnny) Dunsmore of Fremont, Courteney Tucker of Chicago, IL, Mckenzie Tucker of Bowling Green, OH; grandchildren, Lily and Noah Dunsmore; siblings, Randall (Tana) Tucker Sr. of Parma, Tony (Karen) Tucker of Helena; stepmother, Phyllis Tucker; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by siblings; Stevie C. Tucker and Rita F. Allen.
