Marian L. Weller, 92, of Kansas, Ohio, passed away December 6, 2025, surrounded by family at her home, just a few hours shy of her 93rd birthday. She was born December 7, 1932, in Fremont, to Sherman and Theresa Delores (Flocken) Hetrick. Marian attended Fremont Ross High School.
She married Robert Randall “Randy” Weller on January 27, 1951 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Clyde and he preceded her in death on October 8, 2014. Marian's devotion to her family was unparalleled. She was the heart and soul of her household, lovingly juggling the demands of raising nine children and nurturing many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marian is remembered for her unwavering faith and was a cherished member of Christ’s Church of Burgoon.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brenda (Bob) Stull, Joyce Johnson, John (Pam) Weller all of Kansas, Wes (Peg) Weller of New Riegel, Mary (Wes) Williams of Helena, Scott (Lisa) Weller of Bettsville, Tim (Brenda) Weller of Pemberville, Linda (Mike) Young of Brooksville, FL, and Marschell “Schelly” Weng of Kansas; 32 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by her grandchildren, Tracey, Angelica, Steven, James, Heather, and Rachel; great-grandson, Bentley; siblings, Ella Marie, Ruth Eloise, and Jeanette Rose; Sons-in-law, Ray Weng, Jim Johnson, Dennis Kauble; daughter-in-law, Gloria Weller; grandson-in-law, Gary.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, OH, 43420. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Michael Holcomb and Robin Darr will officiate. Burial will follow at Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin, Ohio. For those unable to attend, live-streaming will be available by following the link provided on her obituary page.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ’s Church of Burgoon.
