Margaret Mary Frey

Margaret M. (Miles) Frey, 86, of Fremont, passed away on December 23, 2021 at Bethesda Care Center. She was born on December 18, 1935.

Margaret was a homemaker, caring for her own children, as well as babysitting for those in the neighborhood.

On September 17, 1955, she married Robert "Bob" Frey at St. Joseph Church, sharing 64 years together before his passing on March 14, 2020.

Margaret was a faithful Catholic, attending Fremont St. Joseph, Sacred Heart, and St. Michael Catholic Parish in Gibsonburg. She would often pray the rosary, and enjoyed singing in the church choir. She enjoyed spending time with her family at ball games and birthday parties, had a love for Notre Dame and a soft spot for cats. Margaret was also very proud of her Polish heritage.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Terri Frey, Brenda Frey of Sandusky, OH, Mark (Marie) Frey of Seattle, WA, John Frey of Fremont, grandchildren; Corey, Shannon, Ariel, Heaven, Kyzer, Zane, and great-grandchildren; Scarlett, Oakleigh, Eli, and Knox.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob; and siblings, Bob Miles, Jim Miles, Maryann Williamson, Betty Metz, and Rita Berrier.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
