Madalyn Roberta Lindsey, 10, of Fremont, Ohio, passed into the arms of Jesus while in New York Children’s Hospital on September 17, 2026. Madalyn was a true fighter and a warrior her entire life as she battled ongoing liver and vessel failure requiring frequent lifesaving interventions. Due to this, her second homes frequently became Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati Ronald McDonald House and recently NewYork Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. All of which we are extremely gratefulfor the ongoing extensive care, love and support for Madalyn. Personal relationships were quickly made as they became a second family going above and beyond for Madalyn.

Madalyn loved baking, arts and crafts, Bluey, Princesses, spending time with family especially at Grandpa Puders’ watching birds, butterflies, and playing with cousins. She attended Temple Christian Academy and Croghan Elementary School.

Madalyn would call various family members regularly to ask what they are doing or to say goodnight and wish them sweet dreams, reminding everyone that she loved them.

Madalyn is proud to be an honorary firefighter with the Ballville Volunteer Fire Department.

Madalyn is the daughter of Benjamin and Carrie (Puder) Lindsey. She is survived by her incredibly loving brother and best friend Austin Lindsey; Paternal Grandparents Mark and Karen Lindsey; Maternal Grandparents Carl M. Puder and Rochelle Baker; Uncles Aaron (Jennifer)Lindsey; Charles C. (Christie) Puder, Curtis A (Kara) Puder; cousins Mason and McKenzie Lindsey,Eloise, Wesley, Dalton, and Jeffrey Puder.

Madalyn was proceeded in death by her Uncle Cory Puder and Step “Pop-Pop” E. Willson Baker.

Madalyn and her family will forever remain grateful for the countless prayer warriors around the world having shared Madalyns’ ten year life journey on a daily basis.

Visitation will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Grace Community Church, 900 Smith Road, Fremont, OH. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1 PM on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Grace Community  Church. Pastor Forrest Kirchenbauer will officate.  Her service will be livestreamed at via the link on her obituary webpage at www.hermanfh.com Private burial will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lindsey family to assist with celebration of life expenses or to a charity of the donor's choice.
