Lynn Michelle Salyer

July 16, 1967 — February 11, 2021

Lynn Michelle Salyer was surrounded by family as she went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 11, 2021.

Lynn was born to Eilford and Reeda Case on July 16, 1967 in Sandusky, Ohio.

Lynn spent her early years in Clarksfield and Milan, Ohio but when she was 5, she moved with her family to Fremont, Ohio. Shortly after moving to Fremont, at a Good News Club that was conducted by a neighbor, Lynn accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Following college, she became a teacher and Administrator of Temple Tot Nursery School. After stints of working at Temple Christian Academy, Lakota, and Grove City School Systems, she worked at TIS in Tennessee and UIS Insurance in Fremont as a producer. She loved her career and co-workers wherever she was employed.

Lynn was an accomplished speaker and author. She published four books that documented her journey through her battle with ovarian cancer. In addition, she wrote lyrics to tow songs that were recorded by a recording artist in Nashville.

She is survived by her parents, Eilford and Reeda Case, her daughter Leisha and her husband, Tim. Her son, Luke and his wife Allison and her granddaughter Emery. Her sister Pam (David) Lee and brother Eric (Meredith) Case. Nieces Crystal (Clay) Kirchenbauer, Cassidy (Andre) Guzman; Nephews Nathan (Alyssa) Lee, Adam Lee, Colton Case, Indy Brody and Simon Kirchenbauer and Nico Guzman.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hazel and Hassel Case, Sidney and Bula Case and an infant sister and her beloved uncles Hershel and Bobby.
