Lynn A. Martin, 69, of Fremont, Ohio died at his home December 26, 2022. Born February 6, 1953, he was the son of J. Robert Martin and Mary Jane (Watt) Martin. 

He married Linda Leiser Martin September 20, 1975. Lynn was a 1971 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and a 1975 graduate of The Ohio State University. Upon graduation he returned to Fremont where he farmed for 47 years. Farming was the only thing he ever wanted to do. It brought him immense joy and happiness. Aside from farming he enjoyed racquet ball and snowmobiling.

He was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church, Fremont, Ohio. Lynn was a friend to many.

Surviving is his wife of 47 years, Linda, his two sons, Rob Martin of Naples, Florida and Jeffrey (Jordie) Martin of Lindsey, Ohio and his three grandchildren, Blake Martin, Madison Martin and Luke Martin.

Also surviving are siblings, Sharon (Bill) House of Shelby, Michigan; Phil Martin of Columbus, Ohio; and Gail Martin of Crawford, Colorado. Sisters-in-law Kimberly (Tom) Love of Wadsworth, Ohio and Betsy (David) Murphy of Midlothian, Virginia and his ever constant Weedhopper Farm Council Family.

Calling hours will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 from 2-7 P.M. at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home, 900 North Street, Fremont, Ohio. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, 705 West State Street, Fremont, Ohio. There will be additional visitation one hour prior to services beginning at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Faith Lutheran Cemetery.
