Lois N. (Haubert) Beeker

Lois N. (Haubert) Beeker, 96, of Gibsonburg, passed away at the Clyde Gardens Place on November 18, 2022. She was born in Fremont on October 11, 1926, to Frank and Laura (Stine) Haubert. Lois was a 1945 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and worked at Woolworths, Miller Jones Shoe Store and Penny's. In later years she was a rural carrier for the U.S. Post Office in Helena, Ohio. On January 23, 1948, she was married to Dale Beeker by Pastor Lembke at Zion Lutheran Church in Gibsonburg. They were married 55 years until his passing on September 24, 2003.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Gary (Jackie) Beeker of Fairborn, OH, Mike (Joely) Beeker of Clyde; grandchildren, Tim (Shannon) Beeker, Andy Beeker, Molly (Chris) Hazelett, Matt (Maggie) Beeker, Stephanie (Jalen) Heidelburg, Adam (Caroline) Wagner, Krista Smith, T.J. Harris, Michael Harris, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Smith in 2011, and her sister, Mary Haubert in 2006.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, 319 W. Madison Street, Gibsonburg, OH, 43431.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 10:30 am at Zion Evangelical Church, 500 S. Brentwood Drive, Gibsonburg, OH, 43431. Additional visiting will be held prior to the funeral at church beginning at 10:00 am. Pastor Matthew Zuehlke will officiate. Burial will follow at North Union Cemetery.
