Kory L. Schmidt

Kory L. Schmidt, 39, of Helena, passed away December 6, 2022. He was born in Sylvania, Ohio, on April 11, 1983, to Ronald and Rhonda (Hites) Schmidt. Kory attended Lakota Junior High School and later earned his GED in 2008. He was a roofer for several years before more recently working as a heavy equipment operator for The Andersons, Inc.

Kory enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially camping and fishing, with Mohican State Park being one of his favorite sites to visit. He had a love for animals with a soft spot  for dogs. Kory also attended church services at Grace Community Church in Fremont.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Rhonda Schmidt of Helena; siblings, Christina (Robert) Patton of Columbus, Curt Schmidt of Helena, his twin, Kyle Schmidt of Helena, Casey (Trisha) Schmidt of Green Springs; 2 daughters and his longtime companion, Samantha. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Kevin Schmidt.

There will be no services for Kory at this time.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the family in care of his mother.
