June R. Bargar

June R. Bargar, 85, of Springfield, OH passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 20, 1935 in Clay Center, OH to the late Raymond and Eda (Schissler) Reeder. June graduated from Genoa High School in 1953 and furthered her education receiving her master’s in counseling at Ohio State University.

She married Robert R. Barger on September 1, 1957 and together they shared 57 years of marriage until his passing in 2014.

June is survived by her children, Robin (In Sook) Bargar of Long Beach, CA, Mary (Paul) Billiat of Yellow Springs, OH, John (Ellen) Bargar of Menlo Park, CA, Bruce (Polly) Bargar of St. Paris, OH, and Ann (Bob Porter) Bargar of Urbana, IL; five grandchildren, brothers; Dale (Shirley) and Richard (Marilyn) Reeder.

June and Robert will be laid to rest together at Westwood Cemetery in Woodville, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Herman -Veh Funeral Home & Crematory is honored in caring for June’s family.
