Joyce D. Clere

Joyce D. Clere, 84, of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Countryside Manor. She was born December 3, 1937 in Fremont, OH the daughter of Clyde and Lillian (Ryder) Hilt.

Joyce worked for Gem Lime and U.S. Gypsum. On June 8, 2001 she married Clarence R. "Ronnie" Clere, he preceded her in death on October 13, 2019. She was a devout Buddhist.

Surviving are her children: Charles Jr. (Dolores) Turner of Rockford, IL; Tom (Barb) Turner of Millbury, OH; Kimberly (Don) Auxter of Gibsonburg, OH; Brenda (Chuck) Foos of Fremont, OH; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister Virginia Kempf of Peoria, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Robert Turner, grandson Steven Turner; siblings: Franklin, Simon, Floyd, Earl, Catherine, Betty and Sharon.

The family would like to thank the staff of Countryside Manor and Promedica Heartland Hospice for the support and care they provided for Joyce.
