Joseph L. Voelzke

Joseph L. Voelzke, age 63, of Gibsonburg, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021, at his home. He was born on May 27, 1957 in Fremont, Ohio, the son of the late Robert L. and Louise (Gillmor) Voelzke.

Joe graduated from Coldwater High School in 1976 before working for Atlas Industries for 42 years. He married Pauline Garcia, sharing many loving years together before her passing in 1999. Favorite pastimes of Joe’s were watching the Cleveland Browns, and spending time at NASCAR races.

Left to cherish Joe’s memory are his children, Michelle (John) Del Toro of Gibsonburg, and Richard (Ester) Torres of Elmore; siblings, Patricia (Richard) Risk, Pamela (Christopher) Book, John (Kathy) Voelzke, and James (Linda) Voelzke; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Louise Voelzke; and wife, Pauline.

Services will be private for the family.
