Joseph Cook

Joseph E. Cook "Cookie" 66, of Fremont, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022 at his residence. He was born January 3, 1956 in Fremont, the son of Mervin D. and Dorothy I. Archibald. On April 12, 1975 he married Joyce Durbin. Joe worked as a mechanic for Durbin Trucking.

He loved car shows, Ford Automotive, Eagles and looked forward to time surrounded with his family. His daughter and grandchildren were his world.

Surviving is his wife Joyce, daughter Katie (Don) Lane; grandchildren Jalyn (Becca) Cook, Tyler (Lindsey) Lane, Kloey (Ethan) Lane, Nickolaus Lane, great-grandchildren Izabella Lane, Maisyn Lane, Lincoln Cook, Jenson Martin; brother Robert (Connie) Cook, In-Laws James and Katie Durbin and aunt and uncle Ralph and Elizabeth Gillispie of Findlay, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bill and Denny Cook.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 2-6P.M. at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory 900 North Street, Fremont, OH. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 6:00P.M. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Promedica Heartland Hospice.
