John Fausnaugh

John Fausnaugh, 77, of Fremont passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024. He was born on July 22, 1946 in Fremont to the late Clare and Viola (Kreileck) Fausnaugh.

John graduated in 1964 from Fremont Ross and worked for over 45 years at Century Die Company.

He had a passion for football which began on the field as an all-state Ohio high school player. In addition to cheering on Fremont Ross as a season ticket holder John was a life-long Green Bay Packers fan. He also enjoyed attending sprint car races at the Fremont and Attica Speedways and golfing with friends and family. John also loved to watch his grandchildren make up games to play with each other.

Surviving is his sister Kay (Mike) Jobe of La Plata, MD; children Jennifer (Matt) Lark of Norwalk, Betsy (Nick) Bilanow of Perrysburg, and David Fausnaugh of Oberlin; step-grandchildren Don (Brooke) Lark and Miranda Lark; grandchildren Libby Lark and Alex Lark, Max Bilanow and Emersyn Bilanow; and 2 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will take place Monday, March 4 from 2-5 at Sycamore Hills Golf Course in Fremont, OH.
