Jeanie A. Schade

Jeanie A. Schade, 78, of Helena passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont. She was born on April 22, 1944 in Staunton, VA to the late John G. and Virginia (Avery) Cook.

Throughout her younger years, Jeanie's parents moved several times, eventually settling in Helena. Jeanie graduated from Gibsonburg High School. In 1976, she took on co-ownership and operations of Schade Builder's Supply until her retirement in 1999. For 23 years, she served the community and built many lasting relationships. She enjoyed shopping, caring for animals, and traveling.

Surviving are her children Dan (Cheryl) Schade and Tammy (Don) Jacquot all of Helena; grandson Jason (Renee) Witt; great-granddaughter Kaylee Witt; and sister-in-law Phyll Cook of Allen Town, PA.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother John G. Cook Jr.

Services will be held privately. Memorials in Jeanie's honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the American Alzheimer Association.
