James R. Triplett

James R. Triplett, 80 of Gibsonburg passed away on October 30, 2025 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo.

He was born on May 15, 1945 to the late Morgan and Mary (Pickens) Triplett in Portland, Ohio.

On November 10, 1966, he married Jane Richter, and have shared nearly 59 years together in marriage.

James worked for Luther Meadows in maintenance before his retirement.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jane of Gibsonburg; daughters, Cindy Triplett and Donna Shireman; grandchildren, Michael Fairchild, Stephen (Marissa) Fairchild, Nathan Triplett, Aaron (Kamarinn) Triplett, Lauren Shireman and Tyler Shireman; great-grandchild, Archer Triplett; and siblings, Sylvia, Ruthie, and Larry.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Morgan and Mary; and siblings, Ernest, Minnie, Clearance, Gladys, Mildred, Lawrence, Ralph, and David.

Visitation for James will be held on Tuesday, November 4 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, Gibsonburg. Graveside services will follow at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg.
