Ingrid Anna Miarer

Ingrid "Anna" Miarer, 83, of Fremont, passed Thursday, April 9, 2026 at her residence. She was born March 19, 1943 in Hamburg, Germany the daughter of Paul and Berta Solomon. On December 10, 1976 she married David Miarer in Fremont.

Anna enjoyed her time on the farm tending to the livestock, especially the piglets in farrowing season and the sheep. Anna's love for the land extended to her prolific gardening, where she lovingly maintained 13 flower beds and cultivated an expansive garden nearly an acre in size during her prime. Anna was a fantastic gourmet cook at talent she learned in her formative years while working at many restaurants in Chicago.
Surviving is her husband David of Fremont; step-children Lisa Miarer of Fremont, OH; Michael Miarer of Findlay, OH; grandchildren Mason (Drew) Miarer and MaKade Miarer.

There will be no visitation or services. Private burial will take place at 4 Mile House Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sandusky County Food Pantry or Sandusky County Cancer Care Fund. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hermanfh.com.
