Geraldine "Gerry" Hahn, 87, of Fremont, passed away on July 2, 2021, at her home. Gerry was born on September 25, 1933, in Fremont, OH, to the late Bernard "BJ" and Gladys (Duquette) Gries. She started her career as the first Children's Social Worker in Sandusky County and worked from 1957 - 1961. Gerry then left social work to raise her family. Gerry married Robert "Bob" Hahn on October 9, 1960, and they shared nearly 60 years together before his passing in 2020. Gerry had a deep faith in God and enjoyed talking about her Lord with others. She loved her family and friends and cherished the time she spent with them. She was a faithful member of Grace Community Church and looked forward to the worship, sermons and weekly Sunday School classes. She was a very giving person who put others before herself. She enjoyed gardening, reading, quilting, and hosting Bible Studies. She loved to write letters, and looked forward to receiving them even more. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Mark) Robinson of Atlanta, GA, David (Michelle) Hahn of Fremont, and Sara (Stacy) Michael of Fremont; sister, Georgine (Kenneth) Edmonds of Fremont; grandchildren, Shawn Robinson, Michelle Robinson, Ashley Michael, Taylor (Michael) Decker, Jacob Hahn, Lindsay Hahn, and Michaela Hahn; and great-granddaughters, Kylie Robinson, and Emery Nicole Decker.
