Frederick P. Joseph, 81, of Fremont, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born September 13, 1944, in Winston Salem, NC, the son of Maurice R. and Eleanor V. (Lenke) Joseph.
On August 23, 1975, he married Marjory Anne Gillig at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Findlay. Fred served in the Army National Guard and went on to work as a Senior Systems Analyst for Whirlpool Corp., retiring after 36 years of service.

He was a member and Choir Director for Trinity United Methodist Church in Fremont and volunteered his time for the Fremont Ross Music Boosters and Fremont Bowling Association Board. He enjoyed bowling, golf, gardening, watching sports especially Ohio State, Cleveland Browns and Indians. Fred traveled with Margie and friends and looked forward to supporting the kids and grandkids at their activities. He had a particular penchant for dessert and baking cookies. The sight of multiple sweet treats on his plate became charmingly known as "pulling a Fred" among those who knew him.

Surviving is his wife Margie of Fremont; children: Bob (Amy) Joseph, Mike (Sammie) Joseph, Susie (Charles) Haubert, Bethany (Matt) Reed; Grandchildren: Madeline Reed, Caroline Reed,
Anna Haubert; Julia Haubert; James (Selena) Solis; Allison (Orion) Bevinger; Great Grandchild:
Luther Solis;1 great granddaughter on the way, Sophia Solis; Brother: Terry (Ellen) Joseph
Sister -in -law: Rose Marie Gillig; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, father and mother-in-law Robert and Helen Rose Gillig; brother Maurice Ray Jr., sister and brother-in-law Patricia & Pete Zyski, brother-in-law Charles Gillig.

Visitation will take place from 4-7P.M. on Friday, June 19, 2026,at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, OH. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00AM on Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 204 N. Wayne Street, Fremont, OH, additional visitation will begin at the church one hour prior to services at 9:00AM. Pastor Andrea Thurston will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, with military honors performed by the V.F.W. and American Legion. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or Fremont Ross Music Boosters. Online condolences may be expressed at
