Freda Bliss

Freda Mae Bliss, 85, of Fremont passed away on December 24, 2025. She was born on April 13, 1940 in Adams Twp. to the late Wilbert B."Dutch" and Lucy (Runion) Michael.On November 15, 1958 she married the love of her life, Gene Clyde Bliss, Sr.Freda was a good friend who was known for her strength and abiding faith. She will be remembered for her deep love and dedication to her children along with her family as a whole. Her love was also shown through her many years of camping and the laughter and memories shared during times spent traveling. She also enjoyed lighthouses and what they stand for.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Gene; children Gene "Skip" Bliss, Dale Bliss and Troy Bliss all of Fremont, Ryan (Renee) Bliss of Clyde and Tonia (Dan) Smith of Monroeville; grandchildren, Taylor (Tylor) Tonelli, Tanner Smith, Mariah (Mark) Tattersall, Kyrah Cagle and Lakotah (Ben) Hohenstein; great-grandchildren Thomas Tonelli, Layla Tattersall, Evelyn Tonelli and Ava Smith; and siblings Joyce Findley, Willie Claybaugh, and Denny Claybaugh.

Along with her biological parents; she is preceded in death by step-mom Jeannette Michael; and siblings Butch Claybaugh and Ronnie Michael.Visitation will be held at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 10AM-2PM with services beginning at 2PM. Rev. Dr. Amy Little will officate and burial will follow at McGormley Cemetery, Fremont.In honor of Freda, memorials can be made to the National Brest Cancer Foundation.
