Elizabeth J. "Betty" Parsons

Elizabeth J. “Betty” (Swedersky) Parsons, 102, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont. She was born on October 15, 1916 in Fremont to the late Harold R. and Mary (Groby) Swedersky.

Betty married Edgar M. Parsons on June 29, 1940. Together, they had three children and Betty was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Surviving is her daughter, Sandra Fox of Fremont; grandchildren, Stacy Coleman, Gregg Coleman, Jeff Parsons, Kristofer Parsons, Stefanie Kingsborough, Erika Fox and Alex Fox; great-grandchildren, Jacob Coleman, Gabrielle Coleman, Griffin Coleman, Ashlyn Kingsborough, Kallon Kingsborough, Lillie Fox, and one coming in July; son-in-law, Garry Coleman of Titusville, FL; and daughter-in-law, Marcia Parsons of Sandusky, OH.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Edgar, who passed on April 5, 1999; children, Sharon Coleman, who passed on November 26, 2018 and Larry Parsons, who passed on February 21, 2019; siblings, Alice Tack, Kenneth Swedersky and Jean Reichert.

A Funeral Service for Betty will be held privately for the family.
