Eddie Lee Jr.

Eddie Lee Jr., 77, of Fremont, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on November 9, 1941 in Abbeville, AL to Eddie & Alleana (Gilmore) Lee, Sr.

Eddie was a 1960 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. After graduation, he worked for UPS as a supervisor and then at Whirlpool on the line.  Eddie loved to go fishing, repair computers and debating politics.  His favorite place to be was in his favorite recliner, watching sports. Eddie was a member of Path2Life Ministries.

In 1964, Eddie married Helen Louise Weems in Baltimore, MD.  They were married for 18 years until Helen’s passing on December 3, 1982. Surviving Eddie are his children, Leslie Wayne Lee, Loretta (Mark) Brown, Rodney Lee and Thadeaus (Patricia) Lee; grandchildren, Kyle Tucker, Haley Lee, Mariah Grissom Daniels and Jasmine & Jade Lewis; 9 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Robbie (Warren) Daniels, Mamie (Frank) Harper and Betty (Robert) Patterson.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Haralson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at Greater St. James Church, 629 N. 6th Street, Fremont, OH, 43420 at 11 a.m. Prior to the service, there will be an hour of visitation at the church beginning at 10 a.m. Pastors Thadeaus and Patty Lee will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
