Dennis Lee Fahle (77) passed away on May 6, 2026, surrounded by his family who loved him dearly at his home in Gibsonburg. Den was born in Fremont, Ohio to the late Donald and Mayre Anne (Kreilick) Fahle on November 19, 1948. Den married Debra Arnold on June 19, 1971 at Faith Lutheran Church in Fremont, and was blessed with nearly 55 years of wonderful memories. 

Den was a graduate of Gibsonburg High School and following, proudly served his country from 1968-1971 in the US Army Signal Corps at Fort Gordon, GA. Once he returned from the service, he and Debra were married and Den worked for various employers until joining the Paul E. Spieldenner Co. for 38 years as a carpet/hardwood installer, requested by many for his fine workmanship. His work career ended with the Fremont City Schools as a seasonal employee, which he loved. At both Spieldenners and Fremont Schools, he enjoyed his fellow co-workers and the people he came in contact with. 

Den's greatest joy came from spending time with his family. going to sporting events and activities for both Mark and Brent, and then he was allowed bonus moments in life by enjoying his grandchildren. In retirement, he enjoyed traveling and in his pastime, he created various woodworking items in his workshop that he enjoyed sharing with family, friends, and his church. 

He was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church, serving on church council as a deacon, and was a 50+ year member of their dartball team. 

Den is survived by his wife, Debra; sons, Mark (Katrina) Fahle of Tecumseh, MI and Brent (Kelly) Fahle of Upper Sandusky, OH; grandchildren, Grant Fahle and Trent Fahle of Tecumseh, MI, Bryant Hagemann of Chelsea, MI, and Harper Fahle of Upper Sandusky, OH; sibling, Carol (Scott) Heilman; brother-in-law, Greg (Joan) Arnold; sister-in-law, Paula Fahle Pickens; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Mayre Anne; in-laws, Herbert and Norma Arnold; and siblings, David and Richard Fahle.

Visitation for Den will be held on Saturday, May 16 from 9:00-11:00AM at Faith Lutheran Church, Fremont. A memorial service will follow visitation, along with military honors. A luncheon will be provided immediately following services. Donations in Den's name may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, or to American Legion Post #17, Gibsonburg. Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, Gibsonburg is honored to be assisting the Fahle family during this difficult time.
