Dale F. Allen

Dale F. Allen, 86, of Fremont, formerly of Gibsonburg, Ohio, passed away on September 15, 2020 at Bethesda Care Center. Dale was born April 16, 1934 in Perrysburg, Township to Frank and Esther (Keller) Allen. He attended Perrysburg High School and worked at the former Rossford Ordinance Depot and Libby Owens Ford in Rossford, Ohio. Dale was also a farmer for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed mowing and landscaping, and loved watching western movies. In 1954 he was drafted into the United States Army and served during the Korean war until he was honorably discharged in 1956.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Shawn (Larry) Batten of Jane Lew, WV, grandson, Markus Hines of Buckhannon, WV, great-grandchild, Godric Hines of Buckhannon, WV, and very special friend, Genevieve “Genny” Lawrence of Fremont, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Dale’s requests, there will be no visitation or services.
