Connie Gail Emrich

Connie Gail Emrich, 69, of Fremont passed away at her home on Thursday, December 30, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born in Fremont to the late Jack Manoylovich and Carol (Sechler) Vermillion. Connie grew up in Gibsonburg Ohio and moved to Fremont after graduation. 

For many years, Connie worked as a cosmetologist at Village Hair Fashions alongside her mother in Gibsonburg. Connie then worked for Mercy Housing in Tiffin and Toledo as an apartment manager. She enjoyed spending her weekends at Lakeside Marina boating with friends. Connie also enjoyed scuba diving trips and family vacations. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her sweet disposition, and her steadfast faith.

Surviving is her husband, Dennis Emrich; children Jasmine Emrich of Fremont and Ashley Boich of CO; son in law Robert Boich; step children Anthony (Tonya) Emrich and Tricia (George) Wrataric; grandchildren, Kaylee Polascak, Braiden Boich and Emmalina Boich; Lauren Emrich, Lance Emrich, Zachary Nolf and Madison Nolf; great-grandchildren Micah, Maddox and Myles; and siblings Linda Merrill and Marcella (Bruce) Hickman. Connie was preceded in death by her parents and brother in law Tim Merrill.

Visitation will be held at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 5-8pm. An additional hour of visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 10-11am with services beginning at 11am. Pastor Rita Smith from Worship Alive Church to officiate.
