Cody Shammo

Cody Allen Shammo, 30, of Gibsonburg, died Thursday, August 11, 2022. He was born March 24, 1992 in Toledo the son of James A. and Cathy S. (Olmstead) Shammo. He was a graduate of Gibsonburg High School

Cody enjoyed camping, tractor pulls, karaoke and working on his truck. He faced the daily challenges of living with Cystic Fibrosis and wanted to ensure that he'd lived his life to the fullest.

Surviving are his parents, sister Jessica (Andrew) Morrison of Newark, OH; nieces Mackinze and Leah Morrison, Alena Oswald, Madison and Elizabeth Mitchell, numerous aunts and uncles and best friends Shawn Stigerr and Zach Kaser. He was preceded in death by his sister Nicole Shammo Oswald.

A Celebration of his life will take place on September 11, 2022 from 2-4P.M. at the family home. Memorial contributions may be made to Make-a-Wish Foundation. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hermanfh.com
