Cinda Slepesky

November 14, 1945 — February 19, 2026

Fremont

Cinda “Sam” Laine Slepesky was born on 11/14/1945. Beloved daughter of Edward and Wilma (Gillingham) Slepesky.

Cinda began working with Allegheny Airlines in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania in 1966 as an airline reservations and ticket sales agent. In her early years with the airline, she traveled the world visiting dozens of countries and most of the United States. As the decades changed, along with the company name, Cinda remained steadfast assisting countless people with their travel needs. She begrudgingly retired after 52 years in the same role with the airline now named American Airlines in Winston-Salem North Carolina.

Her quick wit and bounteous knowledge were evident to the multitudes she met over an accomplished life and career. After retiring, she moved to Ohio to be closer to her family and help raise her grandchildren.

Sister of late Sara S. (Slepesky) Lang. She is survived by her daughter, Dhia Elizabeth Peach, son, Evan Douglas Marcavage, niece, Kristin K. Lang, and 3 beautiful, intelligent granddaughters.

Cinda was an accomplished calligrapher. She dedicated her time volunteering with various organizations and her local parish. Cycling, arts and crafts and supporting historical establishments were also among her passions. She always had a humorous story to tell and somehow, as only she could do, has now left many with both sadness in their hearts and smiles on their face. She will be missed but not misremembered.

In accordance to the family's wishes, there will not be services held at this time.

Donations in Cinda's name may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
