Chris E. Schwochow

Chris E. Schwochow, 59, of Fremont, passed away on June 20, 2021. He was born on February 20, 1962 to LeRoy E. and Lorene (Beeker) Schwochow in Fremont, Ohio.

Chris was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School. He did some farming when he was younger and worked for Unique Fabrications in Fremont. Currently, he was the owner of Unique Portable Staging LLC, where he built and rented hydraulic stages for public events. On April 20, 1985 he married Deneen Demars at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fremont, and she survives. He was a member of Truth Ministries in Port Clinton and played the drums for the church. Chris was a devoted husband and father and loved being surrounded by his family most of all.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deneen "Dee" Schwochow of Fremont; children, Zachary (fiance Rachel Solarz) of CO, Amanda (Cory) Nichols of AK and Michael Schwochow of Fremont; one grandchild on the way; and brothers, Charles and Carl.

Visitation will be held at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, 900 North Street, Fremont, Ohio, 43420 on Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 2:00pm-4:00pm & 6:00pm-8:00pm.

Funeral services will be on Friday, June 25, 2021 at 11:00am at the funeral home with an hour of visitation prior to services. Pastor Brian Hild will officiate. For those unable to attend, livestreaming of Chris's services will be available under the live webcasts tab on the funeral home's main page.

Burial will follow at Four Mile House Cemetery in Fremont.
