Carolyn Smith

Carolyn Sue Smith, 71, of Woodville passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at her home. She was born on March 10, 1954 in Fremont to the late Calvin L. and Bertha L. (Bryant) Mull.

Carolyn was a loving mom. She liked to spend time raising exotic birds of all kinds. She took great care in breeding and raising the hatchlings for well over 30 years.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: TJ (Veronica) Smith; Julie (Greg) Plantz and their daughters, Cheyenne Deitemeyer and Savannah Plantz; and Wendy Knapp (Brad), her son, Aiden Knapp, and great-grandson Enzo; brother Calvin W. (Rhonda) Mull of Woodville; and TJ's father Todd Smith.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Calvin and Bertha Mull; siblings Marolyn Mull and Terry Mull; and Wendy and Julie's father Rich Deitemeyer.

There will be a graveside service held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at West Union Cemetery, Gibsonburg beginning at 10AM.
