Carolyn McClure

Fremont- Carolyn S. (Hampshire) McClure, 71, passed away at Bethesda Care Center on Sunday, December 30, 2018. She was born in Fremont to the late Frank and Marian (Hausman) Hampshire on May 5, 1947.

Carolyn was a 1966 Fremont Ross graduate. In 1996, she married Cecil McClure.  He passed away in 2005. She worked for Eveready and Kroger. She was a big OSU football fan, a huge dog lover and excelled at bowling. On Wednesdays, Carolyn enjoyed breakfast with the Union Carbide retirees.

Surviving is her brother, James (Nelore) Hampshire; sister, Gloria (Kenneth) Root; sister-in-law, Claire Hampshire; many nieces & nephews; and special friends, Marge Tuckerman, Linda Stine and Lollie Wyss.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; twin, Marilyn Hampshire; and brother, Richard Hampshire.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 10-11 a.m. at Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont, where Funeral Services will begin at 11 a.m. Father Matt Wahlgren will officiate. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Sandusky County Humane Society.
