Carol Sue Eicher, 86, of Fremont passed away on September 2, 2026, at Elmwood Assisted Living of Fremont. She was born on March 3, 1940, in Toledo to the late Robert M. and Arleen N. (Verrier) Dimon.
She was a 1958 graduate of Malinta-Grelton High School, where she met the love of her life, Roger. She worked for many years as a bank teller with Bank One.
Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was passionate about her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, daily walks, singing in the Lindsey Trinity Church choir, and making meals for the church luncheons. Her family will fondly remember her love of polka dancing and playing cards with friends and loved ones.
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Jeff of Strongsville, Mike (Peg) of Euclid, and David of Port Clinton; grandchildren, Lyndsey (Andrew) Fox, Jacob Eicher, Jeffrey Eicher (Karen), Nicole Eicher (Nathan), Brittni (Matt) Faist, Brooke Eicher (Ryan), and Erika (Aaron) Lewandowski; great-grandchildren, Emry, Noam, Charlotte, Greyson, Cameron, and Lauren; sisters, Mickey Carty, Beverly Crampton, Diane (Tim) Braker, Debbie Baker, Becky (Vince) Bailey, Linda (Randy) Thomas, and brother, Thomas (Pam) Dimon.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband Roger, whom she was married to for 54 years, parents Robert and Arleen Dimon, sisters, Sharon Monteith and Judy (Roger) Henricks; brother, Robert (Sherry) Dimon; and her son Jeff's fiancé, Sandy Previte.
Visitation for Carol will be held on Thursday, September 10, from 11:00am-12:30pm at the Herman-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Crematory, Fremont with a memorial service immediately following visitation. Burial will follow at Lindsey Cemetery.
Donations in Carol's name may be made to Heartland Hospice or to Lindsey Trinity Church.
