Carol Lynn Bracht

May 17, 1965 — January 25, 2021

Carol Lynn (Gentry) Bracht, 55, of Fremont, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at Promedica Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. She was born May 17, 1965 in Omaha, NE, the daughter of Jack J. and Theressa (Phillips) Gentry.

Carol was educated in Bedford Public Schools, and lived in Temperance, Michigan throughout her education. During her adulthood, she lived in Toledo and Fremont, Ohio; Blackstone and Victoria, Virginia; Grand Blanc, Michigan; and Orman Beach, Florida. She loved finding a good deal at a thrift store, flea market, or garage sale; spending time with family; The Walking Dead, and horror movies. She collected elephants, teapots, and University of Michigan (or anything Michigan) paraphernalia. One of her favorite things to do was to cheer for U of M while her stepmother, Trudy, cheered for Ohio State. Most importantly, she truly appreciated a good pair of warm slippers.

Survivors include her fiancé, Gerald Fleming; father, Jack Gentry; children, Angella Donahue and Bryan Bracht; sister, Kim Morgan; and stepbrother and wife, Dan and Pam Klotz. Her grandchildren include Isaac, Bryan, Dakota, Parker, and Donald, IV. She also had many other family members, whom she loved very much.

Preceding her in death are mother, Theressa (Phillips) Gentry; stepmother, Trudy (Klotz) Gentry; and step-nephew, Jeremy Klotz.

Private Memorial services will take place at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Clyde, Ohio, on Thursday, January 28.
