Betty Jane Fox

 Betty Jane Fox, 84, of Gibsonburg, passed away on August 25, 2020 at Otterbein Portage Valley in Pemberville, Ohio. She was born in Martin, Ohio on May 10, 1936 to Charles and Clara (Nowalk) Walp. Betty was a 1954 graduate of Woodville High School and later worked as a machinist at Atlas Industries until retiring in 1999. She married Leroy Fox in 1960 in Monroe, Michigan, and spent 60 wonderful years together until her passing. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed crochet, embroidering and reading.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Leroy Fox, children; Roy (Lee) Hunt of Dardanelle, AK, Shellie (Dan) Walker of Albia, IA, Velma (Bryan) Strait of Risingsun, OH, Leroy “Skeeter” (Ann) Fox of Dardanell, AK, siblings; Pearl (Babe) Milton of Fremont, OH, Gerald Walp of Moline, OH, 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings Barbara Harr, Sandra (Don) Johnston, and her grandson, Samuel Strait.

Services will be held privately for Betty’s family.
