Annette M. Swartz, 64, of Fremont, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Toledo Hospital.
She was born February 2, 1961 in Fremont, the daughter of Clarence "Bill" W. and Evelyn M. (Stine) Heilman. On March 28, 1992 she married Luke Swartz at Old Fort United Methodist Church.
Annette was a graduate Terra Community College and Lawrence University. She was a system analyst, most recently for Inoac.
Annette was a collector of sailboats, antique vases and enjoyed the simple beauty of the cardinal. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school, volunteered for numerous committees, and sat on the church board.
An avid golfer and pickleball player, Annette filled her days with laughter and friendship at the YMCA and Rec. She was always up for a game of Mahjong and looked forward to time spent at the Sandusky County Fair, proudly displaying her antiques and flowers. Additionally, she shared her passion for craftsmanship through her involvement in the Mini Magic Miniature Dollhouse Club in Findlay. She was a devoted supporter of the Midwest Dollhouse Museum in Michigan, donating numerous dollhouses .
Surviving is her husband Luke Swartz and father Bill Heilman both of Fremont; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Visitation will take place on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 10-11AM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 204 N. Wayne Street, Fremont, OH.Livestreamed funeral services will begin at the church at 11:00AM officiated by Pastor Andrea Thurston officiating and Rev. Melanie Haack eulogizing. Private burial will take place at Smith Cemetery, Burgoon, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.hermanfh.com
