Annabelle E. Crum, 95, passed away on February 17, 2021 at her home. She was born in Girton, Ohio on March 7, 1925 to Humphrey and Gertrude (Nighswander) Nycum. Annabelle was a 1943 graduate of Risingsun High School. She worked for Woolworth in Fremont and later United Telephone Company in Green Springs as the office manager until she retired in 1987. On October 16, 1944, Annabelle married LaMar Cook at St. John’s Lutheran Church and they were married 25 years until he passed away in 1969. She later married Roland Crum and he preceded her in death in 1979.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Carol (Fred) Allard of Sandusky, Ohio, Fredrick (Janet) Cook of Norwalk, Ohio, 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, first husband, LaMar Cook, and second husband, Roland Crum, she is preceded in death by her son, Danny Cook, step-great-grandson, Tyler Tilson, and her 10 siblings.
Services will be held privately for the family.
