Allan Lewis Fox, 71, of Gibsonburg, passed away on July 27, 2020 at the Arbors Nursing Home in Woodsfield, Ohio. He was born on December 15, 1948 to Walter “Babe” and Lucy (Good) Fox. Allan graduated from Lakota High School. He worked for Chrysler as a welder and later as a supervisor for 30 years until his retirement. Allan was always keeping himself busy and enjoyed being around others. He was an avid member of AA, always making sure he attended a meeting anywhere he could. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and was a toy train hobbyist. But perhaps his greatest reputation was dressing up as Santa Claus for his family and friends, passing out toys and candy canes at holiday get-togethers, and making everyone laugh. He will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his children; Anthony “Tony” (Tonyaa) Fox, Matt Fox, Maggie (Andy) Leininger, Allan Fox, Kayleen Donahue, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister, Donna Woodruff, and uncle, LeRoy Fox. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Dale Fox.
