With quiet dignity and deep faith, we remember a devoted son of God, a proud Korean War veteran, and a man of gentle wisdom who lived a life of humble service.
A faithful Catholic, he found strength and guidance in prayer, the sacraments, and an unwavering trust in God's providence. His belief was not loud or showy, but steady and enduring-reflected in his kindness, his patience, and the quiet way he cared for others.
He served his country honorably during the Korean War, carrying with him a sense of duty that would shape the rest of his life. Though he rarely spoke of his experiences, his actions revealed courage, discipline, and a deep love for his fellow man.
Known for his quiet nature, he was a man who listened more than he spoke. When he did offer words, they were thoughtful and filled with wisdom. He taught not through grand gestures, but through example-showing the value of humility, perseverance, and compassion in everyday life.
He cherished simple moments: time with family, the peace of routine, and the comfort of faith. His presence was steady, his love constant, and his legacy one of quiet strength.
He leaves behind a grateful family, who will carry forward his lessons of faith, service, and humility. Though he has departed this world, we take comfort in the hope of eternal life and the promise that he now rests in the peace of Christ.
"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." (Matthew 5:5)
May he rest in eternal peace.
