Ada Mae Meyers

Ada Mae Meyers, 92, of Bradner, Ohio went peacefully to be with our Lord on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Ada Mae was born on December 19, 1933 in Imler, PA to the late William and Ardella (Ickes) Sleek.

She graduated from Rising Sun High School in 1954. After graduating she moved to Fremont, OH and worked at Billy's Restraunt, Howard Zink, The Fostoria Review Times, Dunn's Bowling Alley, and Modine Mfg. Co. in Pemberville, OH where she retired.

She married RIchard D. Meyers together they had two children and later divorced.

Ada Mae leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Lesa Damron of Risingsun; son, William (Anna) Meyers of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Katrina (Dave) Becerra of Woodville, Erik Soncrant of Risingsun, OH, Heather Meyers of San Antonio, TX, and Logan Meyers of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren, Dylan Becerra of Perrysburg, OH, Karys (Dean Walter) Becerra of Elmore, OH, Aubrey and Alexys Becerra of Woodville, OH, Preston, Harlow, and Avery Alonzo of San Antonio, TX; brothers, Tony (Lola) Sleek of Millbury, Gene Sleek of Findlay; and sister, Nancy Biddle of Kansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Aaron Dix; son-in-law, Aaron Damron; sisters, Goldie Bowers, Dorothy Ickes, Lucy Sleek; and brothers, Wilbur Oscar, Ray, Raymond, Ned, Harry, Roy, Earl, and Tex Sleek.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 24, 2026 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory, 319 W. Madsion Street, Gibsonburg, OH, 43431. Funeral services will be at Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Noon at the funeral home. There will be an additional hour of visitation prior to the start of the service. Pastor Michael Holcomb will officiate.
